This website is a frontend of the Scientific African Content Management System (SACMS) which has been developed by Henrik Bettermann (Scientific African e.V.) on the basis of the web application server Zope and the content management framework Plone. The core products of the SACMS were provided in 2004 under the GNU General Public License by COM.lounge GbR, Aachen. Extremely helpful was the significant technical support from the German Zope User Group. Thanks to all!

The SACMS is - like its CMS framework Zope/Plone - free and open source software. The current version (0.2-devel) is pre-released but not yet available in a CVS or SVN. Please contact admin@saoas.org for further information.
